Praying in Nature...

Add Image

Just when I was getting all primed up to write this elaborate dissertation on the profound experience of praying in nature, and being open to God in the mist of his natural creations. Going back to dirt and spirit being breathed into me as I take deep breaths and open my heart mind and soul to the one God who is with me but I can’t or won’t’ hear Abba Father always because of the self inflicted noise and soul pollution in my life…

BAM! Just like that! – I found this quote that said it all. Succinct – just like I crave love, life and words to be, succinct and to the point!

“Nature praises God just by being what God created it to be” ~ St Francis of Assisi

God reveals himself in nature where everything there (here, her, he) has one shared creator without the pyramid concept of mans divine inspiration and his God given intentions. Just wide open heaven and earth, no man made bodies of water and bridges… no genetically modified plants like seedless watermelon (?).

(I just thought these were HOT!!!!! )

It is here that I go to pray for His presence to stay with me, I praise him in the midst of consistent, continually praise from the rocks, birds, insects, and flowers and ask that his wisdom burn my psyche and it is here I get total and divine peace… then I pray for the people that I love, special prayer request for others and all Gods children. It is here I get answers to my prayers, I find clear evidence of His faithfulness everyday and it is in nature that I find the hotline to Father’s ear concerning my loved one.
